Regardless of where you already might be standing.

Get into a space of observing. Get into a space of neutrality. Get into a space of allowing people to express themselves and not get involved. Get into a space where you reflect on whatever is happening right now.

The moment somebody has his moment - by being offending up to aggressive - chances are: it has nothing to do with you. It is THEIR emotions, fear, and subconscious stuff running high. Maybe they are aware of it. Maybe they are not. Chances are, they are not. So your pushing or discussing with them on the basis of their high emotions - only leads to super-high emotions and discussions on both sides that lead to nowhere.
Fighting does not help. It is never the solution.

Get into a space of observing.
Get into a space of neutrality.
Get into a space of allowing them to express themselves and not get involved.
Get into a space of reflecting.

You can only - TRULY - change the situation by acting mindfully. This is the only way you can change any situation for yourself and your loved ones/others.

But Sultan, how?

Again - meditation carries you into that space.
