But first things first - Here’s to all the beautiful and strong women out there, contributing every day to make this world a better place:

Seeing the world through the lens of women…

…brings fresh, strong, intuitive, success-driven, and resilient insights to the table. Just to name a few of the strengths that women hold.

When we look at the world through the gender lens and observe what is happening socially, economically, and politically - yes, we have come a long way - and there’s still quite a way ahead of us. When taking a closer look, all kinds of gaps appear that don’t always receive the attention - and especially the necessary changes - that the topics might deserve.

Women’s equal participation and leadership in political and public life are essential to achieving the Sustainable Goals by 2023. However, data show that women are underrepresented at all levels of decision-making worldwide and that achieving gender parity in political life is far off.
Globally, there are 22 States in which women account for less than 10 per cent of parliamentarians in single or lower houses, including one lower chamber with no women at all.
— At the current rate of progress, gender parity in national legislative bodies will not be achieved before 2063.
